Who You Are 🌟

• We’re launching an exciting project to create AI-powered messaging and advertising solutions, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead the charge on the backend, data, and AI systems. You’ll build these systems from scratch as our first technical hire, shaping our tech strategy and future team. You thrive in fast-paced settings, love solving complex problems, and want to push the boundaries of adtech.

What You’ll Do 🚀

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and AI models to power our adtech solutions.
• Code efficient backends using Golang to handle high-performance workloads.
• Manage data storage with PostgreSQL and process real-time data ingestion using Apache Kafka.
• Create AI/ML models for audience targeting and ad optimization using Python with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Deploy and manage systems on AWS, ensuring scalability and privacy compliance.
• Lead and mentor a future team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Monitor and optimize production systems to boost campaign performance and ROAS.
• Bonus: Experiment with cutting-edge tools to enhance our platform’s capabilities.

What You’ll Bring 💥

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in advertising or data-heavy fields.
• Strong skills in Golang for building fast, scalable backends.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database management and Apache Kafka for data streaming.
• Expertise in Python and TensorFlow or PyTorch for AI/ML model development.
• Familiarity with AWS for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
• A proven track record of leading projects or teams, with experience in hiring and mentoring.
• Knowledge of Meta (e.g., WhatsApp) and Google APIs for advertising integrations.
• Sharp problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams.
• Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have):
  • Experience with Rust for high-performance systems.
  • Familiarity with advanced AI frameworks like JAX.
